..and planning a Monopoly Shot Crawl (cheaper than a pub crawl, plus it's a Sunday), so depending on how long that takes us it'll probably just be generic sightseeing stuff. The only time I need to fill is the post-gig time until the train home at 10am Monday morning. Fabric might do a club night that finishes at 6am which would do nicely but they don't have the listings up for November yet.

EDIT: How is the fantasy football going? I think I was on minus points last weekend until the two Manchester matches where I had Rooney, Nani and Aguero. I'm at a respectable 24th in the league now.

Last week wasn't too good, I'm now in 48th, but only 22 points behind you.

Probably best not to go see Wicked then. Or to go to the opera - our tickets were £37 a head and they were bloody miles away from the stage

Find the nearest Samuel Smiths pub. Their prices remain the same across all their pubs, whether they are in York or London - £1.56 for a pint of best last time I was in one.
Their "thing" is not stocking any major brands though, only their own (pretty decent) beer. So don't go if you are planning on drinking Fosters or Guinness. You will probably find their lager and stout nicer than either of those anyway.

Unless you plan to purchase two pints of Fosters, position them opposite each other on a table and surround them with 11 pints of Carling and make sledging noises.
