What a fucking surprise.

No internet, phoned them, they said nothing wrong, try another router. I said "What if I buy a router and it turns out to be something your end will I be reimbursed?" "No" they said. Tried an old wireless g router and it worked. I phoned them and said "Yes its the router, can I have a new one" they said "Only if you take out a new 18 month contract." I just bought a new one.

The very next day, next door, same situation, no internet out of contract period. They borrowed the same wireless router I used from me, it worked. They phoned Talk Talk up and within three days had a new one free of charge. They even said "The guy next door is and IT tech and he told us the router is broken" Grrrrr They have no idea what their policies are, you get one person and get what you want and another and get nothing.

Then what really got me mad was they had told me I have two options, 1. Pay them £50 for a router or 2. Sign up for a new 18 month contract. I said "3. Buy my own router or 4. Leave Talk Talk and go with someone better." The next day they phoned my wife when I was at work and told her that they would be cutting off our internet at 4 o'clock unless I told them I wanted to extend my contract and did she want to extend. I phoned them up and gave them a mouthful. I expect they are on commission and are using dirty tactics to get people under contract.

I got so fucking fed up of trying to sort of my problem after a couple of weeks they drove me to tears. Truefact!

In all honesty we have talk talk for our business internet and have had no problems with it.
I'm fucking dreading anything going wrong. If it does I'm giving in my notice rather than have to deal with those twunts again.

This is certainly true.
Once, they were canvassing outside the local supermarket. I stopped to talk to them, because I'm a pushover and I can't say no to anyone, and they took my telephone number and postcode.
I specifically told them I wasn't signing anything, as I didn't want to change providers, and they said they would call the number later with a quote.

Fast forward three weeks and guess what had happened? Yep, our contract with [I forget who, it could have been anyone] was terminated and we were moved over to Talk Talk.

Bunch of thieving cunts indeed. That took about a month and a lot of shouting before it was sorted.
