my brother's birthday
is the 19th December, so we didn't put up any decorations until the 20th. When I worked in Waterstones they were up by mid October

My birthday ios 14th December
I always had the decorations up before my birthday, and I had xmas crackers at my birthday parties.

But don't get me started on the whole 'dual present' issue again.

If you can find a good medium, ask Quentin Crisp how he resolved the issue.
His birthday was 25th December.

I love Quentin Crisp.
Truefact!

I love crisps.

But I'll bet you got some big pressies.

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 21:56, Reply)
Not really.
People would give me one normal sized present, and say 'that's for your xmas too'.

i mean, it's not like my birthday came as a surprise. It was teh same bastard date every year. They should have been able to plan for it.

DJ's birthday is in April, and nobody ever gave him an easter egg and said 'and that's for your birthday too'.

Oh look, I got started on it.

Still bitter much?

Noooooo

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 22:02, Reply)
I shall call you John Smiths.

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 22:03, Reply)
Because she's the only bitter available in pretentious, overpriced shitholes, and she's liable to make you throw up and/or give you a hangover on the Richter scale the next morning?

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 22:07, Reply)
Nope, because, like the John Smiths
she's not bitter.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 22:14, Reply)
So basically you're calling her foul shite that's only drinkable because it doesn't give you cramps and gas, or shatter your teeth with its coldness?
Smooth.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 22:16, Reply)
Personally I quite like it, in it's Extra Smooth incarnation, anyway.
