FUCK YEAH THIS LOOKS GREAT!

I don't care about the fact that the Tories are desperate to strip away all my rights anymore.

Why is it that I find Scarlett Johansson much more attractive as that character
than any of her other characters.

But not the Uma Thurman version.
Christ that film was dire beyond believe. No wonder Sean Connory gave up acting after that.
(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 13:25, Reply)
Worth it for Robert Downey Jnr alone.

(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 13:26, Reply)
RDJ is the best lead in a comic book movie
since Christopher Reeve, imo. Nailed it perfectly.

I just really enjoy him in films.
He's like Sean Connery in that respect, if he's in it I'll generally watch it and enjoy it.

Hold up a minute, hold up one gosh darn minute here.
Doesn't Iron Man represent everything you dispise and hate about humanity?
(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 14:30, Reply)
I mean, let's think about it.
1) Tony Stark is only rich because of his Dad's company.
2) His Dad's company is a weapons manufacturer
3) Tony continues on that legacy and is seen selling to the US Military who used iligally sanctioned weapons (such as the indiscrimnate bombing thing in the first film before he gets kidnapped)
4) Tony reguarly flaunts his money and distroys property (both public and not), granted, in the name of saving lives.... but with no upcommance.
5) Blatent tax avoidance by making his son the director of the company before the passing away.
6) Using company money, publicily floated funds (as per the investors) for personal gain.

I'm sure there is more, but he is basicly the definition of capitalism.
(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 14:36, Reply)
Oh FUCK Yeah', I reckon we should all go see that at the IMAX in some sort of mega geek bash.

awwww HELL yeah', this looks so totally ubelievably fucking awesome. This is how I like my movies...... Cool Line, Explosion, Cool Line, Explosion, Look at Camera, Boobs (x 2), Explosion, Cool Line and ending with a walk towards the camera with an explosion in the background..... All we need now is at the very very end, in the background, to see Spiderman's suite in tatters with a hint towards a sequal.
