I am afraid I am not well enough versed in the history of talk to know of these.
Of the ones we've seen recently:
Personality horse: Dull pointless and ultimately quite annoying
Quentin: mildly amusing some times, a bit dull but no worse than some regular posters
Bollocks Parrot: quite amusing and very good at staying 'in role' but could get old fast.
