I sometimes get days like that
Did you eat breakfast this morning?

Alt: Pasta bolognaise, got enough to last me a few days, which is absolutely fine by me!

Nope
Not eaten a damn thing since Tangfastics at the cinema last night. Immortals, since you're asking. No, it's shit.
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:45, Reply)
Tangfastics are the fucking business though

No diggity
No doubt

Best of all Haribo, even better than the menopause edition.

Agreed

That one didn't look too promising
Do you think he'll make a good Superman?
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:47, Reply)
With a decent script, quite possibly
He cuts an inspiring figure, so I see no reason why not. The film itself borrows liberally from 300 for the styling and battle scenes, which are just about the only good things about it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed
I just scored some free tickets for an Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel on Sunday. I could only get four so the missus and I will have to battle it out for the right to wait in the car.

I am so envious right now
Yoda is suing me for stealing his trademark skin tone

Not having to remortgage the house to take the kids to the cinema is the major plus here
Gone are the days of seeing Ghostbusters for 50p at the Monday night kids special.

Am actually envious now
Never saw Ghostbusters at the cinema
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 12:07, Reply)
Neither did I

(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 12:08, Reply)
I did
I jumped right out of my seat when that first ghost, in the library suddenly leapt out at them.
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 12:09, Reply)
In fact, thinking about it, that might have been the last time I went to the cinema.

We've got a local cinema which allows anyone to go on Sundays and Mondays for £3.20
Granted, they only show one film at a time, but it's great if they've got something good on. Saw Tintin there a couple of weeks back, that was ace.
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 12:07, Reply)
Really?
I'm quite gutted, I had the hope it could be quite fun.
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:51, Reply)
It's only really available in 3D as well
There are showings of it in 2D but only one a day, mid-afternoon. I wouldn't mind if the 3D was so awesome that it should be seen in that format, like Avatar, but it's not all that.
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:52, Reply)
Might just wait until it's released on DVD then

(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:57, Reply)
Good idea
It's reasonably entertaining but not worth paying that sort of money for
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 12:00, Reply)
I didn't think it was that bad
I mean, it's not as good as 300, but it's better than Clash of the Titans.
(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:54, Reply)
CotT needed more mechanical owls I thought

(, Thu 17 Nov 2011, 11:56, Reply)
I nodded off
I call that a bad sign. Never saw Clash of the Titans so have no basis for comparison. Possibly I'm being harsh on Immortals because it reminded me of 300 - specifically, it reminded me that 300 kicks its arse
