Unremarkable, I think would be the best way to sum it up.
Although I did enjoy the match yesterday, and the reactions of the few Man U supporters who were in the pub as well.

WOO HOO!
Our mate has just announced he has a gig next Saturday, so we'll drag you along to that.

I saw that, I'm gonna sound fucking southern in amongst lots of drunken northerners.

We'll protect you!

I believe the missus has already divulged what I'll be cooking on Friday night.
I must remember to get the fish out of the freezer the night before!
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:09, Reply)
GET THE FISH OUT THE FECKING FREEZER DG!!!

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:10, Reply)

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:12, Reply)
I'm rather fucking excited about the whole deal if I'm honest, I can't wait to get on that train.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:11, Reply)
I just hope the weather holds on Saturday for the walk.
You don't want to be stuck on the top of Simonside crag in pelting rain or a howling gale.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:12, Reply)
Sounds like fun to me!
It's starting to look a bit shit on the long-term forecasts but I'll believe it when I see it. Plus I have all manner of warm and waterproof gear and solid boots so it'll all be cool.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:14, Reply)
There is that
but shit weather negates the view, which is fucking spectacular.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:15, Reply)
I can handle cold and wind but not rain : (

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:16, Reply)
I dislike walking in the rain.
I had to do a 3 day 'survival' course in the Lakes when I worked for Defra. 3 days of hiking up and down hills in the Coniston area. In January. Where it pissed down. For the whole 3 days. And I MEAN pissed down. Despite the waterproof clothing I was still fucking soaked.

Also, I got the corner of a laminated map in my eye 'cos of the howling gales that were blowing.
Went down like a sack of spuds, said eye subsequently ulcerated. Really uncomfortable experience.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:22, Reply)
We won't put you through that hell again DG.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:27, Reply)
No, don't be poking maps in people's eyes
It isn't nice.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:29, Reply)
It really fucking hurt.
It happened towards the end of the last day, and I was supposed to be driving everyone back. Someone else had to as my eye wouldn't stop watering for hours and I couldn't see properly.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:46, Reply)
I got a bit of rust in one of my eyes
Served me right for not wearing goggles whilst angle-grinding but I had to wear a patch for a week.

And it knacked.

*dances*

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:07, Reply)
The result for us wasn't bad either, although we should have won
Joe Hart was brilliant, the bastard.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:09, Reply)
Krul was definitely our man of the match.
I will therefore not be at all surprised if we get an offer for him that's too good to turn down. He's been outstanding so far this season.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:11, Reply)
He's my fantasy football backup!

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:13, Reply)
He's bloody good is what he is.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:14, Reply)
True
Have you seen Hart's performance today?
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:16, Reply)
I haven't, no.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:17, Reply)
If you can catch MOTD2 tonight, do
He was their best player, (at least) 3 great saves
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:18, Reply)
It's a toss up between MOTD and 'My big breasts and me', tbh.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:20, Reply)
Hmm, I think Tourettes does win over MOTD.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:21, Reply)
It's a documentary on 'Really'.
Burt may tune in for research purposes. Again.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:23, Reply)
I find myself unsurprised.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:29, Reply)
Nothing about that chimp surprises me anymore.

(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:48, Reply)
Tossing up between big breasts?
That's a fun evening in anybody's book.
(, Sun 27 Nov 2011, 20:28, Reply)
