People who work in "law" are cunts

(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 11:56, Reply)
My ex studied law and is now a solicitor in London
She's not a cunt, she was (as you might expect) extraordinarily patient.

She is also not Swipey.
(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 11:57, Reply)
i am many things
patient is not one of them
(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 12:01, Reply)

Only probably, mind. And how are we today?

Adding worcester sauce to coleslaw really adds a nice zing

(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 11:56, Reply)
I'm going to look into this.

(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 11:57, Reply)
It only needs a little bit

(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 11:59, Reply)
Sadly this has to be ruled as hogwash
on account of the inclusion of the words "coleslaw" and "nice" in the same sentence

Like the smoking ban.
When you see a sign up saying it's against the law to smoke on these premises. Even when the premises in question is a big, open air railway platform at some provincial railway station. Isn't that actually bollocks because the ban applies to enclosed public spaces?
(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 12:00, Reply)
That's the ban,
but it's up to anyone if they let you smoke on their property, and Network rail don't.
(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 12:05, Reply)
Well, therefore it's against company policy and not the law, then.

(, Mon 28 Nov 2011, 12:07, Reply)
You're both wrong

That's quite useful, thanks.

Only lawyers are able to google legislation.

To be honest I wasn't too desperate to find out the ins and outs that much.
