Sunday plans? Mine are to blitz the flat all over, get the whole lot cleaned up and looking good again, not that it looks bad now, it could just do with a bit of a top-up. Ma' is then taking me to some homeware store to look at tealight holders and bits'n'bobs like that, might get some photo frames and maybe some art or whatever. I want to do some work on my mobile app that I was working on before, bring that project to life again.

I've got an induction session at the gym. I haven't exercised in 20 years, I fully expect to be in agony tomorrow.

don't show off and don't push yourself to hard and you'll be fine

Today I am hopefully going to be playing computer games, mostly. I also have to tidy up my flat. I still haven't got rid of some of the detritus of moving and I need to do some cleaning and stuff. I've kind of let things build up a little since I haven't been able to spend too much time on my own recently for fear of brooding. However, that seems to be easing off a bit now, so I can start to get on with things.
I've started a campaign to get me out and about and meeting new people and stuff. It's mostly Facebook based at the moment, catching up with people I neglected over the last few years and hopefully getting to know some people in the process. I am toying with the idea of going a bit farther afield and organising mini-bashes. We'll see.

Looking at tealight holders? That rates on the same level as garden centres and church.

Today I am thinking about three of my closest friends who are having the shittiest time imaginable and wishing I could fix everything. But I can't, so I'm going to have a bacon sandwich.

I'd genuinely sleep at least eighteen hours a day if I could. Wake up, have some food, go for a piss, then back to bed again. Oh that would be the life.

I actually quite enjoyed it. I would have stayed for longer but I really fancied a fag and I don't think you can smoke there. My legs are sore.

Probably not as much as the other joggers looked down on me when I was running and smoking over the summer. I only did it once, couldn't face the shame again.

only someone in the coffee shop had given us all a big slice of chocolate cake. I had this big gooey chocolate cake in my hand as I walked in past all the 'weight loss centre' signs.
man that was good chocolate cake. May even have been chocolate fudge..hungry now

How much does this save you? Enough to take that Doris out before you go back I hope.

- I completely blitzed the flat, did the whole lot, put the pledge stuff on the wood stuff, put the hoover thing all over the carpet, put all the fabreeze stuff on the couch things even though they're going tomorow to the battered women, mopped the floor, wipped down all the kitchen services, dumped all the food that isn't eatable, put the valance under the mattris, changed all my bedding (my second set of bedding is awesome black regal design with fake-velvet on fake-satin 1 )...and...ermmm.... stuff.
- Went to a homeware shop where I got a few wastepaper baskets (dark brown leather), a georgous metal tree that holds tealights2 and a bunch of other stuff.
- I then got some wall art thing, it's like rotten copper plates in a wave shape that'll go over the bed.
- I then found out I won some of that euro millions prize fund, only £1.40 down on my stake.
- Lots of other awesome offline stuff.

2 I didn't like the tealight holders that came with it, so I swapped it with another tealight holder thing when no one was looking. Now they have two tealight holders they can't sale but I have something I really really like: d.imgb.in/imgbin_4f130ec8086034.60751771.png

I can't wait for my grant to finally come through, first thing I'm doing is buying new bedding and bed frame. And a bedside table. And some proper expensive pillows. God I'm boring.
(, Sun 15 Jan 2012, 17:58, Reply)
I'm thinking I probably didn't get much action in my last flat on account of me being to fucking embarassed to take anyone back to my room. The bedside tables were from Ikea, it just happened to be the ones my eye went too were one of their cheapest ones, ditto with the headboard except from argos, and the lamps and bedding I picked up from www.dunelm-mill.com/ as they have a store near me (mirror and light (black) also make up the room)...
in total, the room looks (in my opinion) very good, shabby-chique or faux-gothic I think. If I score a bird who's into Twilight, they'll dig that.
This is the wall-art thing I was saying up there, but it's more copper/green than the one in that photo.
