	Well, noa very, very large part of it is that the public are extremely unlikely to vote for "some bloke" even if he has the best ideas in the country. Because he's just some bloke. People don't just always vote for the party their parents have, but they will always vote for a major party in the most instances, because a major party is the only thing that will have a say in the country being run.
