this was pretty dim and enraged me
i saw the dumbest thing i've ever seen yesterday. this dozy woman just walked out into the traffic, right into the path of a speeding motorbike. everyone on the pavement was screaming because she was clearly about to get pasted into an integral part of the fleet street tarmac. somehow the motorbike managed to skid to a halt, about 3mm from this stupid woman's side.

after he had ridden on, what did this woman do? (a) run back to the pavement or onto the central reservation? or (b) stand still exactly where she was in the middle of the road, turn round, and start calling back to her friend about what a narrow escape she'd just had….. so that the taxi speeding towards her had to slam on its brakes and also missed hitting her by about 5mm…. talk about darwinism in action.

my friend and i saved a chinese girl in the same spot a few months ago
she was literally just about to walk out in front of a bus, and we grabbed her to pull her back. she looked annoyed at first, then really really shocked.

how can you not see a bloody massive red double decker bus bearing down on you, ffs.
