I don't get the obsession with sockpuppets
A certain OT regular is obsessed with sockpuppetry and thinks that every new member is one. They have even gone so far as to set up their own puppet.
In case Phudbree comes on later, I am going to Yoga now and won't be back online until about 10pm. If he shows up, it ain't me.

I got it in Cannes. It's really simple, but quite striking. My ex wasn't too pleased when I liberated it from the marital home, but, as I pointed out to her, she kept every other fucking thing from our 13 years together and I was the one who spotted it and carted it home on the plane. So ner.

This happens with me all the time with films, music and books. First time I saw Dead Man's Shoes, the whole shift in what you think Richard's motivation is just stayed with me for days. Ditto when I first heard Untrue by Burial, I was proper haunted by that.
Atomised by Michel Houellebecq was the last book to haunt me I think.

Resident Evil ammo collection samples for beats, timestretched and pitch bent vocals so that you can't tell the gender...I read a great interview with him, where he was talking about how what he does is mourning the rave and jungle eras, even though he was too young to directly take part.
It's layers of memories, like the layers of narrative in Heart of Darkness. I'll see if I can find that interview and gaz you it, it's fascinating to read.
EDIT:
Just found the innerview:
