I was last there in September, hadn't been since I was a kid so I was really looking forward to it.
The ex spent the entire time complaining that it smelt bad and a week later, dumped me. Now, I'm not saying Jorvik was responsible for the breakdown in my relationship, but it's a coincidence to bear in mind.

The smell is supposed to be one of the selling points.
I remember going to Yorvik when it first opened. Had to queue for two fucking hours to get in.
