Well that's the thing.
I'm looking for decent recommendations. Single breasted and grey is what I'm after.

Work or leisure?

(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 10:48, Reply)
It's for a wedding
so it does need to be pretty formal. Peaked lapel, for preference.
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 10:49, Reply)
well you need a morning coat then
I prefer black to grey tbh
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 10:51, Reply)
I'm a guest, I'm not in the wedding party.
Also, black isn't really appropriate and I already have a black suit.
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 10:51, Reply)
So? I always wear a morning coat to a church wedding, it's right and proper
tbh, T M Lewin are more than passable and good value as they are currently* having a sale

*always

Well if you are going to a pleb wedding i suppose this is possible

(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 11:06, Reply)
From my experience, the sort of weddings that have everybody in morning coats
and top bloody hats are also the sorts of weddings that have dove releases and in which 80% of the women are an improbable shade of orange.

But whatever.
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 11:09, Reply)
This is not my experience
but i suspect at these weddings people are wearing matching suits and shiney waistcoats from Moss bros
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 11:14, Reply)
My uncle married in his 50s at a registry office.
There were no plebs whatsoever, and I'd have turned up in a morning suit I would have looked like the world's most bent spastic aka you.

No offence, like.

The place I buy my suits from is near Livpool St station. Quality suits and hard wearing.
You can get a nice grey herringbone suit for 240 that was orig 480 over in their Strand shop. Stanley Ley, legal outfitters.

This is interesting, I shall have a look.
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 10:58, Reply)
I also need a suit for my sisters wedding
Well, I don't need one, but I thought I'd treat myself to a new one.

Shall I meet you there and we can share a changing room?
(, Fri 20 Jul 2012, 11:01, Reply)
