Supposedly they throw good ones last year was Amsterdam, nobody had to reach into their pockets for two days, although co-workers room bill was border line piss take I heard.

It's difficult to know who to hate.
At least the dark-skinned ones were easily identified.

1) It's less than an hour's wages.
2) It's going to cost you more money to 'use' the gift than value of the gift itself.
3) Indian food is known for having people who don't like it, so it's quite inconsiderate to pick that style of meal. There are other cuiseens that 'everyone' can enjoy.
4) The only acceptable usage of family contacts is if it mean the meal/drinks is entirely on the boss's card.
I'd have put in for overtime and expenses if they tried that with me.
