One of the little caps came home with his end of term report from his first pre-school
and one of the first entries read "He done a picture". The rest of it was similarly written...I was not impressed.

I take a very dim view indeed of that.
I would send it back circled in red with 'see me' written on it.

My nipper (just started primary) is changing schools again in Jan. as our 1st choice school has expanded into a new site and now she has a place there. Hoping that's a good move. I think so as they are easily the best state school for miles.

Each term little tangle comes home with a letter from the headteacher advising us of how well he has been doing.
You know the sort of thing, standard template letter that they send to the decent kids.
Each time I cringe at the misuse of possessive pronouns in it.
I realise that it is probably written by the school secretary, but still, if you are going to sign your name on something, you should fucking read it first.
