I'm sorry
I only listen to Hall, Oates or Hall & Oates
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 11:57, 2 replies, latest was 13 years ago)
Did they both have solo careers?

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 11:59, Reply)
Oates sadly died on an ill-fated Antarctic expedition,
whereas Hall can now be found between my front door and my sitting room.

Oh how the mighty are fallen!
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:02, Reply)
I put my heart and soul into this post and....nothing.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:10, Reply)
I really liked it Monty

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:12, Reply)
I groaned slightly
Will that do?

It's the best he can hope for from Lusty so, yeah, why not

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:17, Reply)
Not really, if this call is costing me £1.50 a minute, I want some proper filth from you.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:17, Reply)
They were a duo.
So, no.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:02, Reply)
Yes, they did

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:06, Reply)
Level 42 are on in the warehouse at the moment.
I like them a lot. Their inoffensive jazz-funk inflected pop stylings are just the tonic for a chilly autumn day!
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:00, Reply)
Is it the one that goes "something something familyyyy"?
I think it's about incest or something.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:02, Reply)
Al just put your name on the internet.
^^^^^ Up there.

I feel a BOGWASH coming on.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:14, Reply)
Why are kids not still doing that?
It's all knives and shit now.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:16, Reply)
No imagination.
Since we let all the wogs in.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:18, Reply)
You can't fit their fuzzy hair into the bogs, that's the problem.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:19, Reply)

I am surprised they haven't been getting compensation off the Race Relations Board.

I went to see them at the Portsmouth Guildhall about 1000 years ago

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:07, Reply)
Last thing I saw at Portsmouth was Zodiac Mindwarp - supported for some weird reason by 'The Wonder Stuff'.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:09, Reply)
I fingered your Mum round the back of PG.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:11, Reply)

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:16, Reply)
Eh? You've done fuck all.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:21, Reply)
I liked The Wonder Stuff.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:11, Reply)
They were rubbish live. And a terrible choice of warmup for the mighty ZOD.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:13, Reply)
Leave it you two.
Monty likes to blow Boris. Al likes The Wonder Stuff feat. Vic Reeves.

Poe-ta-toe. Poe-tar-toe.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:15, Reply)
They were terrible
I foolishly allowed a friend to persuade me to go and see them when they reformed a few years ago.
To make matters worse, they were supported by Jesus Jones.
Miles Hunt is a dreary moaning old cunt, who kept banging on about wanting 'The Poppies' to reform to complete the set.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:16, Reply)
I like you again now.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:19, Reply)
I don't know who The Poppies are
but I like a few tunes by Jesus Jones.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:19, Reply)
Pop Will Eat Itself.
Also shit, apart from their comical cover version of Beaver Patrol.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:20, Reply)
They all make me ashamed to be a midlander*
*This is by no means the only reason.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:22, Reply)
I had their Black Country Chainstore Massacre 12" when it came out. I think it was their first record.
It was, incredibly, shit.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:23, Reply)
The 'grebo' scene from which they came had a couple of good exponents:
The Janitors and Gaye Bykers on Acid were both excellent, and Crazyhead were a lot better than their shit name might suggest.
(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:22, Reply)
Do shut up.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:24, Reply)
Right. Sorry.

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:42, Reply)
A thousand years ago?

(, Tue 9 Oct 2012, 12:13, Reply)
