Not being able to cancel TV and phone services without a government certificate that I was leaving Switzerland.
You can only change health insurace provider there once every few years and only in November. You have to give six month's notice that you're terminating a rental lease and you can only do it on two days in a year (the date you moved in and the same date six months later) unless you can find someone that the landlord likes who can take it over.
Christ, how they love paperwork and rules out there.
