I reckon a crab could win it

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:16, Reply)
they should infiltrate and become the leader of both parties
then take control of the country IN A PINCER MOVEMENT
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:18, Reply)
Bit of a lateral move for them

80% chance Obama wins the Electoral College
popular vote will probably be closer.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:19, Reply)
I think you're correct about the popular vote.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:19, Reply)
The problem being that the popular vote is pointless.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:24, Reply)
much like in the UK.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:33, Reply)
Obama, just.
But he'll be fucked by the senate again so nothing much will change.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:23, Reply)
Bet he's sore about that

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:25, Reply)
is it me?
Am I in it? I should probably start campaigning.

Uh, Vote Pig.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:25, Reply)
You've got my vote.

Is there a bar where you are now?

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:44, Reply)
no.
They called us through, then announced the delay.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:54, Reply)
Most incumbent presidents win a second term.
However they are not usually black, so I'm going for: too close to call at this stage.
Of course I care.

Each vote cast for the Mitt or Obama will have cost them around $28

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:29, Reply)
Obama.
I believe the American term is a 'shoe-in'. As opposed to a shoeing, which is a very different thing.

It won't be as slose as people are predicting. Unless Romney JR really has managed to fix the voting machines.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:28, Reply)
I think you underestimate how disappointed people are in Obama
Maybe he was over sold when voted in, maybe the economic "head winds" were too much to overcome or maybe the Senate squeezed the life ouit of any decent new legislation. but i don't think that his first term could be described as a great success.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:31, Reply)
No, I don't think I do.
I know they are. A lot of rabid supporters feel very let down. But not let down enough to switch to Romney.

Still, I know nothing, I could be entirely mistaken based on the sources I read.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:33, Reply)
this is true of everyone

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:34, Reply)
I do think though, looking at the map and the latest polls
he has probably got enough of the 'swing' states in the bag to get past the 270 fairly easily.

I am fully prepared to eat humble pie come Wednesday, mind you.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:40, Reply)
I'm afraid the humble pie contains alcohol.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:43, Reply)
You're thinking of the High Ball Pie.
(I don't know if that actually makes sense).
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:45, Reply)
I imagine it is hard to make anything make sense if you can't drink.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:55, Reply)
According to the article I read this morning
The ones who he has let down the most are the ones who are most likely to support him.
Luckily their perception is that their lives are already better under him.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:40, Reply)
Just to be clear though, I think he has been doing ok

I'm like a bent copper, I'm a dobber, I can't be trusted.
All very lolsome as I didn't 'dob him in', the flaming galah.

It's alright, I gave him a very terse and very rude answer.

Edit: plus, the only dobber involved is the one strapped around his head to allow him to type.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:49, Reply)
I'll vote for you.
Where do I sign up?
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:44, Reply)
At your local leisure centre.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:47, Reply)
Where do I sign on?

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:58, Reply)
The bookies have got Obama down to win, but the odds are shit.
But I don't really care. I care more about lunch. Lunch is important, whichever puppet gets to run the place doesn't really matter.
Edit, is anyone bothering to vote in the UK police commissioner election next week?
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:39, Reply)
no

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:44, Reply)
I will be.
I assume turn out will be so fucking low that your votes will really count for once.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:45, Reply)
It's literally going to be you who decides.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:47, Reply)
I'll have to wake up the people in the polling office to sign me in.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:48, Reply)
Is there a "make rape legal" candidate?

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:48, Reply)
I don't think George Galloway is elligible to stand in this one.

(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 12:49, Reply)
I think it is a shit idea, but I don't know the best way to register this view.
If I don't go and vote it will just be assumed that this is part of the increase in voter apathy.
Also, this puts me in agreement with Sir Ian Blair.
I might spoil my paper - creative suggestions on how best to do this are welcome.

I only see him on the news, and don't have to toil under his buffoonish, blond haired leadership.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 13:03, Reply)
As with his predecessor, some good, some not so good.
Investment in public transport = good.
Crime = getting better.
Homelessness = worse.

etc.
(, Mon 5 Nov 2012, 13:09, Reply)
Shit idea. No, I wont be voting.
