I saw Skyfall last night, it was pretty good
The Odeon wanted more than 7 quid for some popcorn though, what's that all about?

how do you know what the running costs of a large chain cinema entail?

(, Wed 14 Nov 2012, 10:12, Reply)
Apes real name is actually Bob Odeon Jnr.

(, Wed 14 Nov 2012, 10:14, Reply)
I don't know either
but I do know our local pound shop sells 4 servings of microwave popcorn for £1, so unless the cinema stuff is served in platinum plated boxes that's one hell of a mark up.
However it probably subsidises the ticket cost for non-popcorn eaters like me, so yay.
