Even though I try to follow the news and keep up with what's going on,
I consider myself woefully un-knowledgeable about politics. That's more to do with the enormous complexity of the area, rather than my own intelligence, though.

Anyone who revels in their ignorance, or is proud of 'not voting', should be disenfranchsied as a matter of necessity.

Alt: I think most towns have one these days, but we don't embrace them the way they do in Germany. They know how to do that shit properly.

I'm going to Germany soon for this very reason.
I may have mentioned it before, but I'm quite excited.

There's a place called Bell End. It's near Lickey End.

(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:51, Reply)
there is a farm called "bell end farm"
which is part of a holiday scheme that my dad has points in. i have never taken them up, funnily enough.
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:53, Reply)
I thought you'd be all over that.
You've got Bell End written all over your face.
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:56, Reply)
That would bring a whole new meaning to
"down on the farm"

Week away. You'd like it. 5 star hotels all the way.
I haven't had a proper holiday in ages.
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:40, Reply)
Five Star run hotels in Germany?
That's probably a step up for them.
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:41, Reply)
No. They all fell down.

(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:42, Reply)
I heard they could withstand rain or shine.

last weekend in november/first weekend in december
now make your excuses!
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:53, Reply)
Didn't seem appropriate.

(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:44, Reply)
in what way
did a trip involving 5 star hotels and alcohol seem INappropriate for me?

unless, of course, you ARE taking the missus and it would be awkward when you both fancied me more than one another...
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 15:53, Reply)
She is coming with me, she is not the missus.
Besides, it's only the one room and you and I aren't that close.
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 16:00, Reply)
hang on
you are taking her on a five star holiday and she's NOT your missus?

how does that work then?
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 16:06, Reply)
She's prepared to touch his winky.

(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 16:09, Reply)
They weren't all that expensive and I'm driving, so there's no airfare.
You're trying to muscle your way in and you're not my missus either. You wouldn't suddenly be my missus by coming with me, so why does she?
(, Mon 19 Nov 2012, 16:16, Reply)
With your Dad.
