Do you think this is enough of an excuse to make sausages in blankets tonight?

I bought a nice new bottle of sherry
I had to try it the other night. It was a good purchase.
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:03, Reply)
I'm not sure I have ever drunk sherry
it has such an old woman aura about it. I guess your's was dry though
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:05, Reply)
Proper sherry from spain
It's a fortified wine like port, only it tends to be a lot sharper. Good sherry goes well with salted almonds. Cream sherry can eat my weeping anus.

what a lovely picture you paint
with sound

Matusalem Old Oloroso Sherry is one of the nicest drinks on earth,
I defy anyone but the mentally retarded not to love it.

i don't like it

(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:31, Reply)
This made me laugh.
It may just be the bitter laugh of recognition of actually living with that thought process though.

where do you stand on the issue of devils on horseback or even more controversial angels on horseback?

(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:00, Reply)
What are angles on horseback?
I love devils on horseback.
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:03, Reply)
oysters innit or maybe scallops
EDIT: no it's definately oysters
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:03, Reply)
Oysters would be "fucking shit".
Scallops would be a bit of a waste, plus yould have to eat them really fresh, whereas you can make a whole load of devils and it doesn't matter if they get a bit cool.

Just read that
in Merkin land their pigs in blankets are actually sausage rolls.

And wikipedia also suggests stuffing your prune or date with mango chutney before wrapping in bacon.

Now that sounds good.
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:07, Reply)
might be too sweet
although i fucking love mango chutney
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:08, Reply)
I've heard you're a bit of a chutney ferret.

(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:11, Reply)
Holy shit.
I did not mean that the way I just realised it reads.

It was supposed to just be a shitty joke about Jewsons, not some crucifixtion thing.
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:12, Reply)
HAHAHAHA
I took it as crucifixtion

You are also aware of the cockney rhyming slang angle on this, right?
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:13, Reply)
Well, yes, actually, but I'd forgotten that too until you just reminded me of it.

(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:14, Reply)
That's the way I read it.
Then I remembered that it's Two by Four, not Four by Two.
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:15, Reply)
Yes b3th, 'two by four' rhymes with 'Jew'

(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:18, Reply)
Oh, I meant 'two bt four' - 'whore'
Is that not where you were going?
(, Tue 18 Dec 2012, 17:20, Reply)
