I got a Rasberry Pi, and homebrew stuff. I have now got my first all grain brew with REAL hops in the fermenter.

I got some of those special wine glasses
that make it like the wine has breathed for 20 minutes as soon as you pour it into the glass. They do actually make a difference, too. Also the previously mentioned Hugo Man which might well end up being re-gifted. I shall be getting the rest of my presents TONIGHT OH GOSH ITS FINALLY CHRISTMAS

I've seen reviews saying they work and others saying they don't - I've not tried a comparative tasting but they seem to work for me. Could be the placebo effect though.

Ma' got me some good stuff, wasn't much more than an after-thought for one other, and wasn't even an after-thought for most people.
Even though I spend ages getting everything something special for them, and I make sure that everyone has something to open. It ain't 'bout getting goodies, its about showing some thought.

Worst part was having to defend myself every 30 minutes from one snide hypocritical comment here or there, until I gave up and went into Ma's bedroom to piss about on the internet instead.
