it depends how you define salad
if it's just dreary lettuce and shit, salad can fuck right off. but if it's nice things like giant wheatberries or brown rice with lots of vegetables and a bit of cheese, it's the best lunch ever. one of life's great philosophical mysteries: what IS salad.

fresh pasta, strong cubed cheese (either blue or cheddar or feta), fresh onion, fresh peppers, fresh mushrooms, fresh cucumber, jalapenos, fresh chilli, tossed with flavoured mayo.

if you were a total wrong-un, you could add tomatoes. urgh.
