Uuuurrggghhhhhhh
It's 'book day' or some shizzle at my nipper's school today, so she's gone to school dressed as her favourite book character The Cat in the Hat.

Who would you dress up as if you had to do the same?

Alt: who's your favourite character from literature and why?

Altalt: Got to sleep at four. When were you last a complete fucking spastic? I am dying here.

Running around school dressed like that old cunt while screaming "And I rave; and I rape and I rip and I rend!" at all of their little school friends would be fantastic, though.

Lenny Henry was involved.

(, Thu 7 Mar 2013, 9:05, Reply)
OK.

(, Thu 7 Mar 2013, 9:09, Reply)
The idea for the story came from a conversation between Gaiman and Henry about a possible television series.
Henry suggested a story with tribes of homeless people in London. Gaiman was initially reluctant to commit, as he feared that making the homeless appear "cool" might cause more young people to attempt to emulate the characters, but decided that the effect could be avoided by making the story more removed from reality.
