Will the LUNCH section involve a discussion about that day's midday meal, or will the station go on standby for that hour?

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 9:54, Reply)
Nik Kershaw will read out your emails and texts on what you're having for lunch
interspersed with Nigella Lawson showing Mark leMarr how to prepare quick and easy snacks in a low-cut top.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 9:56, Reply)
It's Mark in the low-cut top, obviously.

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:11, Reply)
What a coincidence!
I've never minded the Buzzcocks.
In fact, I rather like them.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:12, Reply)
There's a nmtb compilation series on at the moment.

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:07, Reply)

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:11, Reply)
Do you know if he's still on the radio anywhere?
Since he left Radio 2 I've not heard anything.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:13, Reply)
I do not.
His Alternative Sixties show was one of the best things on the radio.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:17, Reply)
I used to love his 'God's Jukebox' show.
And the fifties one he did was good too. It was nice to hear some 'off the beaten track' music.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:20, Reply)
Agreed and agreed.

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:24, Reply)
I also enjoyed his radio shows.

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:26, Reply)
I'd 'enjoy' his 'radio show'
if you know what I mean.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:29, Reply)
Then you're in the cool gang too.

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:30, Reply)
Am I in the cool gang?

Don't know if he still does it
But he used to have a radio show that covered underground 60's rock bands. Some of it was bloody brilliant. God knows how he found some of these things...there were bands that had ONE album that got to number 50 in the charts for one week in 1965. Seriously obscure.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:14, Reply)
I used to pride myself on knowing about half of the stuff he played.
/hipster
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:19, Reply)
It'll be an hour of me eating my lunch
You're not obliged to watch, and I probably won't be talking much.
(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 9:59, Reply)
Will you be eating for the whole hour?

(, Fri 21 Jun 2013, 10:00, Reply)
I might stop for a toilet break, or if I need to pop to the shops
But I won't know that until the time comes.
