Haven't got a start date yet but hopefully the week after next.
I got provisionally offered an associate position with another company on Thursday as well, which sounds like it'll be on an ad-hoc basis so will be able to fit around what I'll be doing.

I know.The associate one is a bit up in the air as it's a fairly new company that's been set up by someone I used to work with. It's subject to funding, so might not even come to anything in the end, but it's nice to have the offer.

Ha ha!To be honest, it is walkable (would take about 40 minutes) but the missus has a bad back and that amount of pavement pounding would just have her crippled in the morning. I have driven down in the past, got a taxi back and then walked down the next day to pick the car up again.
