I heard they don't work all that well
As the slightest drop in signal causes a complete blackout, rather than a bit of hiss you get with fm

Some are dual DAB/FM
We have a DAB portable in the kitchen, the reception is patchy though. Better off with internet radio at home. Sound quality is sub-MP3 at best, too.

is pointless when Radio 3 exists. They play whole symphonies instead of the '10 seconds you remember from a car commercial' and don't have stupid adverts
