I like the end bit when you've already stuffed it ull of cheese and you drop in some butter, just for the lols

(, Fri 27 Sep 2013, 13:48, Reply)
I don't bother with that bit. Makes it too soggy.

I don't understand why langoustine isn't eaten more in the uk. We export about 80% of it to France.

San Sebastian is good for just eating and drinking good cheap plonk all day.

(, Fri 27 Sep 2013, 14:00, Reply)
It's such a waste.
If we had proper markets you could buy proper fresh food. And Tesc and Sainers wouldn't take so much of our money.
(, Fri 27 Sep 2013, 13:59, Reply)
Farmers markets FTW. Can be expensive though. I make sure I use a decent butchers though. As do you I recall from steaks you have cooked in the past.

(, Fri 27 Sep 2013, 14:00, Reply)
Yeah. The supermarket stuff is shit and badly butchered.
It's a waste of money. Add £2-3 to the price of a supermarket steak and you've got sunfink nice. I get pork chops in leadenhall market and they are a fiver each but really thick and tasty.
(, Fri 27 Sep 2013, 14:03, Reply)
I always get my steaks from Ben Richards, the butcher of Bakersfield
