Making proper winter warmer food,
i.e. proper shepherd's pie with lamb mince. Well, the missus is, I've just washed the dishes and peeled the spuds. Now i'm going for a tab, at which point the dinner shall be in the oven.

Rock and roll.

Nice.
I cooked some mutton the other day. It's a very underrated meat.
(, Wed 9 Oct 2013, 19:46, Reply)
Never had it.
Did you know that over 80% of mutton produced or sold in the UK is eaten by just 5% of the population?
(, Wed 9 Oct 2013, 19:47, Reply)
Well I do now!
I get annoyed by some peoples attitudes to food; idiots that would rather spend £3 on ready meals than spend less to eat better, just because they can't be arsed to try and cook. Even a retard can spend 20 minutes making a stir fry for example.

I found it out via a project I worked on. Mutton is popular within the Muslim population.
A bunch of Northumbrian sheep farmers wanted to exploit the market, but the lack of an accredited abattoir in the region scuppered them, unfortunately.

Isn't that tautology?

(, Wed 9 Oct 2013, 20:01, Reply)
Of course. However additional reinforcement should always be provided when possible.
Sort of tautologising tautology if you will.

Curry for me tonight
Had two nights of disappointing bolognese. I normally make my own but had two jars of lazy sauce.

Horrid.

We love food here, don't we?

ah yes, the old "slacking off on the internet all day then staying late to do the work you should have been doing during the day, so that the gaffer will think you're committed and career-minded" trick
oldest one in the book, that
