So what do you expect to be doing with your life in ten years time?

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 10:34, 103 replies, latest was 11 years ago)
Much the same as you, I imagine.
Crying about turning fifty, filling my days with alcohol and medication, trying to regain my youth by chasing people half my age, and moaning about how /OT isn't as good as it used to be.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 10:40, Reply)
Are you genuinely bothered about turning 40? Hasn't bothered me. No point in worrying about it; you can't change it.

I'm 39 next week and I really had to think about how old I was

Relaxing on my yacht, getting a blow job from a supermodel.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 10:40, Reply)
Posting on here, complaining that it's not as good as it was ten years ago.

Hi winsome, how are you?

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:27, Reply)
Good.
Just got signed off, so I might get some work closer to home.
Hiding in my van now having lunch.

How are you?
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:31, Reply)
All good here, ta
Just worked out that, including today, I only have 16 full days at work remaining this year.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:36, Reply)
Nice.
I've not got many more. We stop on the 20th.

earning a fuckton of money
3 kids, house in the country flat in the city etc etc
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 10:57, Reply)
You'll need a lot of money raising three kids. Just the school fees alone will put a substantial dent in your wallet.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:02, Reply)
Don't be silly, education is free in this country.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:03, Reply)
If you want to settle for second best.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:07, Reply)
I no rite
I mean I've only ever seen snippets of things like grange hill, but there is no way I want my kids growing up in that kind of environment
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:11, Reply)
I wasn't allowed to watch Grange Hill as it was common.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:12, Reply)
No, neither was I, however I've seen bits of it and educating Essex and Waterloo road and other shit
It's all I have to base a decision on as I never went to a state school at any level
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:14, Reply)
You could train as a teacher,
Get a job in your local school, get to know it and love it, film it and fly it channel 4 for their stupid bullshit hour.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:21, Reply)
A school where none of the kids swear?

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:13, Reply)
I dunno looked well shit though

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:15, Reply)
For a London comprehensive, it looks pretty civilised.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:16, Reply)
That's what grandparents are for
And tbh, we may find 2 kids is enough anyway
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:09, Reply)
I only ever wanted one child.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:11, Reply)
Dunno.
Working something steady and not too stressful, hopefully have a bit of money for decent holidays and stuff. Still play music where I can, who knows.
Quite happy the way things are at the moment, more of this. So long as me and Ladypig are alright and I've got time and money to enjoy it, then I'll be fine.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:08, Reply)
Wearing foil in my hovercar, on the way to the Mars Express rocketport to meet my great-grandfather who's just done a pleasure cruise round the solar system after being brought back through the miracles of modern medicine

Seems unlikely really. But you go for it buddy.

Hiding in the van for a bit. The people who work here are weird and racist and I don't want to have lunch with them as they might call me a Gay for eating brown bread.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:33, Reply)
Brown bread shouldn't be as vilified as it is by the working classes.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:34, Reply)
Right, I'm off back to work.
Take it easy.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:40, Reply)

Oh God, I have no idea.
If Im not doing the same I will probably go into HR. I flirted with it in the last place I worked at and loved it.

Don't really care about the job as long as I am comfortable and happy.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:31, Reply)
HR, in my experience are scum.
But you seem lovely. I don't know what to think.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:32, Reply)
Do what I do with him, balance it all out and feel absolutely nothing about his presence and input.

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:33, Reply)
It'd be perfect for Jay - HR people tend to know fuck all about anything

(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:33, Reply)
You guys!
I'd take a more diplomatic approach.
Tell people why they are shit and how they can approve.

Everyone on here: Your people skills are atrocious, but you make me laugh.

Not you, Tangles.
(, Tue 26 Nov 2013, 11:35, Reply)
You're right, I do have excellent people skills.
