I'm quite excited about the end of this week, as I will have money to play with again.
xxxxx-free anything is generally bollocks - why can't people just regulate their intake? Idiots.

I require nut-free stuff as I'm allergic to nuts.

I once met Justin Sullivan. He nodded at Mrs V (she was too shy to come over) and she went all giggly.

Yeah I get the gluten free stuff for people who have an intolerance etc. but it wasn't even bread.
It was no substitute. Bit like eating a sawdust sandwich :(

What is gluten intolerance? What does it do?
My nut allergy isn't fatal, to the chagrin of my friends and relatives - it just makes my mouth, lips, throat and tongue swell up very painfully.

It can be quite serious.
Were you young when you found out about it?

What - my nut allergy? Yeah - prolly about 7 or so. Had a brazil nut in chocolate on Christmas day morning, and couldn't eat for the rest of the day.
Mrs V didn't believe me until last year (we've been together 16 years), and I had some of her muesli, which had a nut in.

Bosh - couldn't eat for the rest of the day.

It's anaphylactic or whatever. But mild.

*Interesting fact of the day
Brazil Nuts are the only nut whose allergy can be sexually transmitted i.e. if you are allergic and have sex with someone who has eaten brazils it can trigger an attack...

*may not be interesting

Interesting fact of the day 2:

Peanuts are not nuts. They're legumes.

Also baked beans.
They're not nuts either.

dunno, I aint got it. I picked it up without looking.
A lass I used to have on my facebook seemed to have quite an intolerance to a lot of things. Kept her awake at night, crying in pain if she had bread. She moaned about it a LOT though so totes got unfriended.

Justice.
I had to unfriend a friend's boyfriend the other day, as all he posts is all that worthy anti-vivisection stuff.

I pointed out that most animals are wankers, and it became a race to unfriend each other, I think.

I used to work with someone who was allergic to gluten and she used to live mostly off boiled ham and chips.
Have you considered eating boiled ham and chips?
