Oh dear Swipe
"It's on the internet, it must be true."

If I provided a link to a page that stated that all vegetarians are fat, flatulent, orangutans would that be equally valid?

I left YM with a crustless pie last night

Basically Swipey, the consensus here is that if it doesn't have a crust it's not a fucking pie.
You fucking pie.
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 15:57, Reply)
Pies have to have a top
Sides and bottom can be excluded in a pot pie
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 15:57, Reply)
Well, at a push, maybe, but if there's no crust then it's not a pie and Swipe is a blithering food wrong.

No pie top = quiche

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 16:00, Reply)

A friend of mine has very strong views on what constitutes a pie
Pubs quite often serve what is basically a casserole with a pastry lid on it.
If he is ever served one he will kick up a fuss and send it back.
A pie must be entirely encased in pastry in order to qualify as a pie.
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 15:59, Reply)
I quite like them ones
as the filling can be runnier

This is correct though
Unless they state TOPPED or some such a pie needs to be fully encased
