it took them 2 years to get all the bits together though
seems like that one was pilot error, not knowing how to handle plane in that emergency scenario etc. this one will probably be something similar; it's the only logical explanation.

my personal view is that people had used stolen passports for other nefarious means
but not to blow up the plane. someone would have come forward to claim responsibility for the theft of it by now.

it goes to show more that passport control is only as good as the person doing the checking. although I did roll my eyes at the Malaysian minister saying, can't people have sense? people with Asian faces using Italian passports?

what, because you can't have Asian parents, but be born in Italy? sorry, stupid me, I didn't realise your face came from the geographical location of your birth, not genetics.
