was it a murder?
No, there was just one of him
(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 10:43, 1 reply, 11 years ago)
how's this one?
council locks gates to stop travellers getting into park.
travellers try hard to get around the locked gates.
council gives in and removes locks IN CASE THE TRAVELLERS HURT THEMSELVES TRYING TO GET INTO A PARK THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CAMP IN.
travellers piss themselves laughing and move back in.
council now has to go back to court and cost a fortune in fees and clear-up costs.

The best solution is to ensure legal pitches are available to travellers, thereby allowing the police to take a tougher line on those camping illegally

the Irish ones are "travellers", avoiding tax, so should be put in the same tax avoidance category as the self employed and anyone who employs an accountant, all the way up to the chairman of Tescos.
(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 11:18, Reply)
all self employed people and al people with an accountant...

(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 11:18, Reply)
Yup, all avoiding tax
which is, of course, entirely legal in this country at the moment
(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 11:21, Reply)
tax avoidance is really just another way of saying "sound financial planning"

(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 11:23, Reply)
ergo, travellers are a good example of sound financial planning.

(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 11:25, Reply)

Explain how, and show your working.....

(, Tue 11 Mar 2014, 11:36, Reply)
avoidance is the legal practice of minimising your tax bill
Evasion is not paying the tax that you owe.

Simple

You know, from that article you just linked to.
You did read it, didn't you?
