I got a starter kit for Christmas, although I fucked that one up (stored at wrong temperature)
Started a new one, and it's come off rather well!

In recent vegetable news...
I got my allotment all planted up a couple of weeks ago, only to discover that the water tap that the council installed doesn't actually fucking work.

Sad times.

Cool. I planted some broccoli and French beans in egg boxes on my kitchen window and they're rocketed in about a week.
I'll plant them outside at the weekend. Nature is pretty fucking cool.

I have lettuces, runner beans, red onions and purple sprouting brocolli out in the plot
6 tomato varieties, sunflowers, courgettes, french beans, chard, sprouts and some other bits growing in pots ready for planting out in a week or so

Your choice of veg is straying towards 'gay'.
Where the fuck are your spuds man?

I haven't chitted them yet, gonna do it this evening

(, Wed 23 Apr 2014, 14:37, Reply)
Aren't you a bit late?
I got mine planted out a week or two back. Had them chitted weeks before that.

Also you're a southern woopsie, so you can get away with doing it even earlier in the year.

No AIDS here thanks.
Parents don't mind it.
Don't want kids.
The only good relationship you need is with yourself.

I got my dad a homebrew kit as one of his birthday presents.
Reckon it'll both keep him out of trouble and get him in trouble at the same time.

I look forward to the first batch of cider.
(, Wed 23 Apr 2014, 14:30, Reply)
Sounds good, but be careful
Homebrew cider can be fucking deadly, learned that one the hard way.
(, Wed 23 Apr 2014, 14:47, Reply)
I'll be amazed if he ever uses it.
