Her choices don't, we just get them rammed down our throats constantly.

It's possible you're being a little over-sensitive to it

(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:41, Reply)
by 'rammed down his throat' he means that when he visits her sister at her home, her rules are in place.
Funny that.
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:42, Reply)
yeah, why be accommodating to your guests?

(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:42, Reply)
your house, your rules

It's not a huge leap of deductive reasoning
to assume she doesn't want to cook meat in her house when her lifestyle is dedicated to animals not dying.
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:50, Reply)
I mean, it's ridiculous to assume that she would be uncomfortable with meat being cooked and consumed in her house.

(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:52, Reply)
It really is
What about his human rights?

Personally if we had people round for dinner, cooked a meal and one guest turned around and said "I'd like to cook my own meat please" I'd be more offended by the rejection of my hospitality than the beast murder. And we're only veggie, not Vegan.
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:54, Reply)
Surely you'd welcome someone wishing to put his meat in your oven?

(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:56, Reply)
Depends on the provider of said meat
I have standards, dear boy
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 13:01, Reply)
it seems to me that the overbearing judgemental and preachy people aren't the veggies and vegans.
In fact, in this case it's DBT insisting that his dietary choice he imposed, even though it's impolite and puts himself out.

It's almost as if he's choosing to be an utter prick, yet blaming it on the vegan.

What an abject tosser.
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:59, Reply)
In fairness I know some seriously preachy Vegans
They can be almost as bad as religious nutters at their worst, although at least they're passionate about something real.

I don't know any veggies who are judgemental unless you directly violate their principles, like waving a bacon sandwich in their face and shouting "TASTY TASTY MURDER" etc.

I think what DBT is guilty of is being a bit of a rude guest, TBH. You wouldn't skip out on a meal that someone had lovingly prepared and go get a McDonalds would you.
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 13:11, Reply)
DBT has the choice of going vegan for a few days, which will do him no harm at all, or be a prick and insist on eating neat while there, necessitating the camping gaz and plastic plates.
He's chosen the latter so has no place to be complaining.
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 13:14, Reply)
Personally I'd just sneak some cheese in with me
Cheese is better than having principles
(, Thu 8 May 2014, 13:16, Reply)
he should paint her house in the blood of small animals by flniging them alive at the walls

(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:54, Reply)
I don't know what "dliging" is but I think I'd like to try it

(, Thu 8 May 2014, 12:42, Reply)
