Vegetable thread sounds good, do you grow or produce anything, or are you reliant on tins andtakeways?
Lucky enough to have a reasonable garden, so fair bit of fruit and veg, as well as a shed AND a greenhouse. Ace or what? What else is ace today?
Thinking of getting chickens again, eggs, meat and something for daughter to play with.

I once grew about 20 or so large marijuana plants in my greenhouse.
Never used it to grow fruit of vegetables though.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2014, 10:02, Reply)
Only ever grown hydroponically, greenhouse and lights. Can't really do that sort of thing now.

(, Wed 11 Jun 2014, 10:05, Reply)
I found it surprisingly easy
But I think it prudent not to do this sort of thing since becoming a father.

yeah, it's really exciting, digging a hole in the ground, dropping some seeds into it, then pouring water on it, then checking it, then whining about nature eating it
it's tedious.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2014, 10:23, Reply)
^ this
Gardening is shit, nature is shit.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2014, 10:24, Reply)
i don't mind if people want to do it
i just mind when they bore on about it. apart from ape, because his slug wars are quite amusing. when my friend k starts blathering about her allotment, i want to shove lumpy misshapen slug eaten and utterly unappealing cucumbers in my ears.

I tend to buy most veg frozen, rather than in tins.
Peas are much bettter that way.

Today is ace, because I'm designing a music quiz for next week, and thoroughly enjoying it. It's a 2 parter, first half is songs (all of which are covers), second half is "Who sang the original?"
