My plans for the day are
1. Get new sofa into house (this may be tricky, it's a big sofa and I have a tiny hallway)
2. Wait for delivery guy to pick up the exhaust in my garage
3. Dye my hair
4. Tidy my room (and possibly the rest of the house if I can be bothered)
Roll and roll :)

Appears to have sodded off, but I'm sure it's a ruse.
Tidy Up.
Iron.
Shop.
Cook.
Make up blatant falsehoods on CV before sending it off.
Cook.
Drink.
Fin.

Just been to get my head shaved.
The other half is out for tattoos with her mate, then we're out on the lash later.
How's everyone?

I'm just trying to install the Half Life Orange Box on my computer. It's taking it's time.

Just got up - Had a wonderful lay in.
Going to dorp my sister down for her scuba diving lesson, buy some fast food cause I'm feeling like a bit of a binge and then go buy some new jeans.
Should be quite a relaxing day.

Just got back after 5 days in the lake district and had a fookin' great time ....... Despite God attempting to drop Ullswater, Windermere and Bassenthwaite on our heads all week.
Got marvelous pictures, a 70L bergen full of washing and the abiding memory of the sound of the couple in the room above us rutting their way to glory at 0710 this morning.
Tis good to be back. Hope all is well.

And believe me it's very tiny.
Got nuffin to do and nowhere to go till this evening.
Oooo! Swan Vesta. I'm looking forward to my trip to Keswick in a couple of weeks. I hope there is no more rain left to fall but somehow I doubt it.

It's utterly pissing down up here. My plans for the day are:
Do fuck all.
Have a coffee.
Do fuck all.
More coffee.
Cook dinner later.
Drink wine, whilst continuing to do fuck all.
But to be fair, this is the first weekend in ages where doing fuck all has been an option, now that we are no longer living in a building site, so I think it's justified.

Just watched Scotland get beaten yet again by another shiteo team. Woohoo.
That's put me in really bad mood now. Oh well, I'm sure Andy Murray will win in the tennis...ahem.

I've been looking into "ethical" clothing this afternoon as I'm in serious need of new jeans and the rest of my wardrobe is looking a bit grim too.
It's a bloody minefield though. Still, I've found a few useful websites that are helping me to find companies that are producing clothes using sustainable methods (as far as possible) and are fair to their suppliers.
I really like the idea behind www.made-by.org/?lg=en too. Shame their scorecards, with regards to conveying information, aren't really fit for purpose.
Got myself one pair of jeans so far.

Next target - A dinner jacket. hmmm.

Delayed from last night as the clan decided home-made 'burglars' were Friday fodder.
This means the lazy pottering while listening to the Dead Kennedys/ Suicidal Tendencies and hence annoying the wife must come to an end.
Suitable music for haggis/tattie/neep preparation??
I was thinking of a subtle and romantic melodic medley, something on the lines of a Motorhead and Slayer compilation.
Forget music to accompany The Lurrve Thang, I need music to dice swedes to.

Looks like the best way of sorting myself out a decent DJ. Might look into taking a crap load of the stuff in my wardrobe that I hardly wear and seeing what can be done with it.
Shame they don't have their opening hours on the website -_-

Had me digging out a pile of my old Dead Kennedys stuff to listen to as well
Right now though, I am about to brave the kitchen where a bucket of sardines awaits me for topping, tailing and gutting.
Got some of my old mates over tonight for a night of feasting, drinking and bullshitting in the way that only a group of 10 or so hairy fat 40 year olds can!

She who must be ignored sent Junior in to the kitchen to complain that I was playing 'Holiday in Cambodia' too loudly.
Peasant.
Cue 'I am the Law' at 11.
That'll teach her*
*owwwww. Sorry dear.

It's quiet.
Can the QOTW geezas and geezaesses oh fuckit split-tails actually have social lives?
I'm sweating like Paul Gadd in PC world after cooking the haggis tang and having my DK CD confiscated and need a shower or HAZMAT certified removal services, but shurely someone must be having a good time?
Please?
