Right proper question.
What adhesive is good for sticking vinyl to metal? I need to repair my heating system so it needs to be resistant to moderate heat.

Manfat generally sticks stuff together. Especially the pages of the Mail.

Just tie it on with a bit of wire.

araldite
Get the proper normal stuff - not the quick setting stuff.

Araldite's pretty thick, I need to apply over a reasonably large area.
How about a sprayable contact adhesive?

What kind of load will it have to take? Araldite will properly stick it but may be overkill.
Also what kind of heat? Hot water system (only about 65 C)?

About a foot by a half.
Hot air, probably about 40C
