Evening all
It's that time of day again when I've had dinner and I'm bored.

I get to go biking later.

evening
have you noticed how some qotw bring out the real cunts who seem to think they are extracting some form of vigilante justice, but are in reality complete arse-mongers?

Might stop by the skills course on the way home.

very well indeed. Tomorrow is Friday, which means I get to bid a temporary (3 day) farewell to the spacktards at work.

And you?

edit: BK - that's good. My friend's brother is bi-polar and it's hard going.

Oh, well, yes. A lot of the time I hate the place. Too much work, too few staff.

I feel for you mate. I was diagnosed with Cyclothymia* earlier this year. Was told today that they want to keep monitoring me for another couple of years in case they misdiagnosed or I develop a more serious bipolar disorder. As per my gaz the other day - If you want a chat I'm all ears**

*I assume this is what you meant as I've never heard of psychothalmia and got no hits from google. Apologies if I assume incorrectly.

**This is a lie. I only have two ears but I do have an assortment of other body parts.

Fecking ShitBook
It drives me nuts. Finally swept away all the application shit (no, I don't want a flower, or a fucking garden to put it in) and culled a few 'friends' (yes, I think I looked at you once in school) and deleted some personal info. This included my relationship status, so a message goes out to everyone saying, 'Clendrix is no longer listed as single'.

Immediate torrent of messages asking about 'new man'. FFS. If I'm with a new man and you don't know about it before I update FB, then clearly you're not important enough to know about it at all.

/rant over

I'm actually in quite a good mood.
Edit: And I got a flex, so now it's even better!

About 5 months back, I was seeing a lass who lived about 20 miles away, and had a big barney at each other round at hers so I left early. 10 minutes later I got a text on the train ending it.
Got home and switched on Facebook to cheer me up. It said, "BK is now listed as single."
She'd switched her's before I'd even got home! It did actually make me laugh.

Hmm. There was a market in town today, was tempted to buy a working brass old style candlestick telephone. It was £95 though. And more crucially I don't have a telephone account set up where I live.

What is happening?
The /talk mutants are invading (pass me the box of No1 shot), the QOTW appear to be chosen by a hamster that has suffered a serious blow to the head, and if you're too far away to have attended a bash, you're a little person.

Meh.

Badger
I understand your rage.

Zap, oh well - I guess tomorrow you'll be recreating your recreation so we can all delight in it via the picture you take. And later, you'll be looking at a beautiful telephone you cannot use.

Glad that's sorted.

Edit: Osok - not true (about the bashes)! Not any littler than anyone else.

Osok hold your own bash!
I do like the old style telephones but like you Zap we don't have a landline.

I shall stay until 830 then I will go do some work. No one talk to me after 830! :P (well until I have finished my work... then you can all give me well done cookies!)

*reads swiftly*

Had to deal with an ouchie - youngest Witchlet has taken off a corner of her big toe-nail. On the gate post. Hurrying to the ice cream van while wearing flip flops.

Germolene and plaster have now been applied (I ain't kissing that better) and calm is restored.

I very much doubt it. Those who dismiss/talk as a bunch of cliquey tosspots (and from the evidence they are both cliquey, peurile and infantile) seem to be falling into the trap themselves. I can name 1 new face in the last week (Megaweasel, who sounds quite nice), but no frigginf newbies. If QOTW is the fluffy side of B3ta, where are the disciples?

It'll end up with the same old faeces, same old cliques, and the board'll go bubbles.

Your 1 bash that I went to added 14,000 extra views (and counting). That menas , 86,000 div by 12 = a ratio of 6750 to 1. Your bash doubled that at a snap.

The fact that he's already had a heart attack, a stroke, cancer twice and now has lung cancer but is still fighting says a lot about him. He's a grumpy old sod sometimes, but for the most part is a cool guy :) My family's been going through this for years now, so it's not a huge surprise as he smoked for so long but then quit for ages as well.

G'night Al
@ancrenne: Good to see you again. Hope the real-world hasn't been too harsh on you.

Re talk: I'm still reluctant to pop my talk-cherry.

Am currently flitting back and forth between QOTW, gazzes and e-mails.

Yes, it's true, I have a job offer in West-London which I intend to accept. I'll still be coming over to England for next week's bashes, and some time later, I'll be moving to London for good. Have mixed feelings about living in London, but I've got plenty of friends over there.

I'm tired.
Yes, you heard it here first.

One day of work left, then it's the weekend, yay :D

Hey
anyone still around?
(, Fri 12 Sep 2008, 0:27, Reply)
Yes, me.
@ancrenne:
Not sure yet. I suspect sometime around mid October, or possibly earlier.

@Kaol:
I take it the insomnia is wearing off.

*shrugs*
I didn't sleep Tuesday night at all, and I had two hours this morning, so... I think I'll sleep well tonight.

I need a shower or something though, *frowns* all smoky and horrible.

Insomnia
is a bugger. Last week I slept about 1.5 hrs a night.

This week its better, getting up to 5 hrs a night. woo.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2008, 0:39, Reply)
Meh
I've always slept badly. Go through periods of a week or two where I only sleep an hour or two a night.

Sometimes I wish I could sleep more.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2008, 0:44, Reply)
Ah
I know that one.

My speciality is to go to bed utterly exhausted, put my head on the pillow, close my eyes, start drifting off, then wake up and be fully awake for the next 5 hours. Used to drive my ex crazy.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2008, 0:48, Reply)
Heh
Yeah not good. Meh. I have to be up at 6am... sigh. Then at work by 9am

fun.

I know that I'll
Have a head-crushing hangover on Saturday, so I'll likely be asleep 'til lunchtime then anyway.

Sleep is a useful thing, but I can get enough bits during the day to cope.

EDIT: I have to be up at eight, if I go to sleep. That gives me fifteen minutes to get showered and dressed.

When I was a teenager
I used to wake up at exactly the same time no matter what day it was. Also, I went to bed at nearly the same time every night. This kept my sleeping habits pretty regular. Going to university, adapting to the student lifestyle quickly put an end to that.

I
idiotically agreed to go for a run with a friend tomorrow morning.

I have no trainers that are fit for human use.
I have shorts... but they are torn to hell.

Oh and I hate running.

He's planning a 'long yet steady' run in the local countryside.

I'm only going because he got me to agree to it when I was drunk last week.

Bastard.

Mr. Z...
You should count yourself lucky, one of my mates agreed to do the London Triathalon when he was drunk.

He did the swim (in the Thames), and the cycling, but forgot his running shoes, so had to drop out.

Bloody hell
thank god for that.

I have just got an email off a friend from uni who is planning on rowing across the atlantic.
Sigh. He always did like rowing.

G'night Ms. A!
I'm gonna head off, need to get packed for my weekend, going straight from work.

I
think I shall also retire to bed.
