Glad the weekend is here even though I don't really have any plans yet. Might go down the pub with a book tomorrow afternoon or some such.

Sorry, I was up there visiting my Aunt in Carfin, her husband died in a motorbike accident, so it was pretty tough, but we made the best of it. My little girl had a great time with my cousins.

Haggis pakora
is the business. And you can actually get vegetarian haggis, ancrenne.
Although the whole point of haggis is that it's made of offal, so the idea of a vegetarian version is ludicrous to my mind. Nobody's tried to make a carrot out of meat (at least to my knowledge - b3tards may know better!)

When I used to go out and get pissed a lot.
I would be out with my mates and then at some point in the night, I would just decide I wanted to go home and disappear. I would sober up enough to get home and then not remember how I did it.
Bit dangerous really but I'm a big girl and probably put off would-be muggers or worse with my look of steely determination at getting home.

I thought you'd come to visit me at work today - there I was, grafting away (yes, really!) and I heard a voice behind me say,
"Oh look, there's the big girl's blouse coming now"
But alas, it wasn't you! It was a senior manager (male, well over 6 foot) who'd screamed like a girly when a spider ran across his desk.
He'll be a long time living that one down!

Brew your own! It's fun, cheap and rewarding.
A friend and I put in £10 each and we were able to source everything we needed; a plastic barrel, mix, yeast, cleaning chemicals etc etc, and our return was 12 2litre coke bottles full of yummy ale. That's 12 litres apiece for £10.
I'm not usually an ale drinker, but this stuff, as I recall was tasty. And also very dark. It took about 2 weeks to brew and worked out at around 6%. Not bad at all! :D

@ HLT
In the same school as I'm in this week.
I'd love a job there full time.
I'm with the same class for the first two days as I have been this week. Then another school. Then this same school again but different classes.

Good school then? Hurrah!
You know, I love working here, but sometimes I wish everyone would just fuck off home so I can too.

Hey K2
It appears it's Tulip's alter ego. She sent it back to the greenhouse with its stem between its pot.

This evening I'm sat between here, drinking beers and discussing getting rid of wasps nests with another online friend.
Ten years ago I'd have said this'd never happen .... how wrong I was.
I've got The Evil Dead: AOD in the background and I'm loving it - Youthful me can go and get fucked!

Am flitting back and forth between e-mails and b3ta. To me, it's both people on the other end of teh intertubes. Also, the problem with e-mails is that they get responses, and I have to write back.

Yes, it is a big watering can, and it's filled with lots of water, and has a huge nozzle with plenty of holes.

Went
to see Pineapple express and went out for a couple of drinks
It's an ace movie if you've not seen it yet. Full of quite hilarious action scenes and lots of stoner humour. It's not tasteless and teenage about the whole thing though, which is good :)
What about you?

Am currently planning my forthcoming trip to England. Will be coming to the London bashes on 18th and 25th, and the Southampton one on 20th. Was originally planning on getting some more job interviews, but my job-offer meant I now have lots of spare time so will visit a few friends when I'm over.
