It was very nice.

On friday night, I was in a local resturant in north cyprus...
... and I had the most amazing mezzay, but one of the guys there kept on bringing on food for us to try that he was expermenting around with. There was

- Some sort of tomarto, aspagous, 'rubarb' and nettle stew, which was lovely, and left a really weird stinging sensation in parts of my mouth that i've never had stung, like, under and around the tounge at the back of the mouth. Really weird.
- Aspagous and scrambeld egg, with what I think is Sugar, Cineamon and Clove. Really good.
- Some really strong pickles.

Then on saturday, I was doing a good-bye dinner, and one of the locals ordered something that wasn't on the menu. They could explain it to me in english, but when it came out, it was an amazing mix grill of Lamb Chop, Kofta, unidentifable piece of steak and like a chicken-tika.

Also, cyprus potatos are amazing, the potatos here are shit compared to the ones out there.

Had a few doners in Manc last week. I like the fact they come in a naan bread, as opposed to pitta, you can fit more healthy meat in.

Kind of mixed feelings where we live, I did like the annoynimity of living in a city, here you can't walk down the street without some fucker smiling and saying hello.
I'm aware I may have spelt it wrong.

and it's alright but it's just different and I don't like it.

My aim is to live in Petworth.

before mrsjeff moved down south, she came round for dinner one night
we ordered a takeaway from a lovely thai place and cracked open a bottle of wine. then another. then looked at a third (this will not surprise jeff).

decided we had better call the thai place. they assured us he had set off ages ago.

we drank the next bottle. still no sign of the food. we called again. they assured us he had not come back, and he had set off hours ago.

eventually the poor sod turned up looking really tearful - someone on putney bridge had mugged him whilst sitting on his bike, and had run off with the bag containing our rice, noodles and ice cream. we got the curries, but no sundries. not sure who was more gutted, him or us.

Last takeaway was traditional fish & Chips from my local place - frickin' awesome.
Alt: I like where I live - far enough out of the nearest town but close enough to shop/eat out/drink. There's a lot of nice places to go in Leamington.
Money no object? I'd live in either Singapore or Thailand. My late father told me I'd either love or hate south-east asia - and I'd know which in the first 5 minutes. Love both places - worked for a while in Singapore and holidayed in Thailand.
(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 17:57, Reply)
I had a takeaway last year some time I think.
I'd prolly live here and in France still. Although I'd quite like a place on the Indian ocean in saaf efrica ... fancy having hippopotamus on the lawn.

Last takeaway was cod chips mushy peas and whitebait, it was ace, thanks. Not much more to add, apart from they charged me 50p for some tomato sauce but the bird who fancies me in there usually gives it to me for nuffin so that was a bit of a low
Alt: yeah it's alright living in a flat worth loads in a nice area whilst also having a 3 bedroom property sitting empty with a token mortgage on. If I were to move I'd go to Dungeness because it's bleak and empty like my head.
(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 18:06, Reply)

How is lemmy with him? Lemmy sounds a bit rubbish really.

(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 18:28, Reply)
nooooooooooo
lemmy is sweet, he's just a bit shit at flying.

we've only let them have a quick peek so far; lemmy is utterly intrigued. rocky just looks at him as if to say, "only 1 of you?"

(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 18:38, Reply)

(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 19:23, Reply)
fascinating fact for you
they don't piss - because of where they come from, their bodies absorb all the liquid. they do tiny little dry pellets that are immediately wiped up with a disinfectant wipe.

not sure if it's better or worse than shovelling dog shit into a bag. that happens less frequently, but dog shit is soooooo much worse.
(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 19:09, Reply)

less fewer
(, Mon 26 Jan 2015, 19:10, Reply)
