^^I disagree, CHCB.
This is really the best way to widen the gene pool- IRL you're limited to whoever you can meet in your local area, but on here you meet people you'd otherwise never encounter. I've met a long list of notables from here already, despite not being on the hunt. Were I looking for a woman to be with, I'd say this is an excellent place to start, as we already would have a common sense of humor and much to chat about from this site alone.

I really do think that b3tans should date b3tans where possible. I think we may really be onto something here...

you can find something special in anyone
and traits are a trade-off anyway. Sure, you can generate an intimacy with someone online that would take much longer or be more difficult to establish face-to-face, but that doesn't always translate well into real-life.

It's much of a muchness, eh?

Based solely on my own experiences, I can say that dating a b3tan would have a much better chance of success than dating someone you met elsewhere online. I've met a lot of b3tans now, and have found that without fail I've instantly clicked with all of them and like everyone I've encountered to date.

I've also done match.com and HotOrNot and had very shaky results there.

Were I looking, this would be an excellent place to start.

I have not tried dating women from this site, so it may be a bit different. I've only met people socially, and not on a dating basis- though of the women I've met, there are a number that I would certainly like to try dating if it were feasible.

Seriously…

I think that the reason B3ta would make a better dating site than ‘Match.com’ or whatever it is called (member number 7869433 btw ladies - *winks*), is because with B3ta there is no pretence.

As well as all the valid reasons mentioned above…nobody is (currently) trying to score with anybody, so they are relaxed and honest….erm…except when they’re making stuff up...nd even then it’s usually for entertainment purposes.

If any dating element were to be introduced, then I think it might be a bad thing – it could change the ‘fun’ intentions of posts as people would possibly try and ‘big themselves up’ for pulling.

I personally believe the self-mocking posts where a hero unwittingly ends up on the arse end of some calamity are the best. And those kind of posts could dry up.

Also, all people have to do is add a photo and state their marital status on their profile…start posting…then wait for the gazzes…

Dating on b3ta has its benefits and its pitfalls
Having now dated more than one b3tan I can say that it's not much different from real life.

Some people are great and all of the wooness (I think we all know to whom I am referring here) and others just aren't.
