I am also bored
and have been all day, despite having loads to do and yet no inclination to do any of it.
Must be the weather.

What a day...
everyone seems rather limp.
(I can say this because Al doesn't seem to be around to comment.)

The crazy thing is, everyone else who works here has gone home. I am only still here because I am mental.

Guyliner :)
Wouldn't be the first time. A couple of years back some lady friends made a joke about putting makeup on me, so I said 'go on then!' It was really quite tasteful and noone noticed until the next morning at the greasy spoon, with the worst hangover I've ever had. The waitress looked at me and said, out loud in front of a packed caff, 'Are you wearing makeup?'

I have no make up on at all
And am sat surrounded by books and emails demanding I do some work.
All I really want to do is drink wine but I've got to drive 75 miles in an hour or so.

A workaholic I am not! But I figured that, as I was here, I may as well get some things tidied up and sorted out. It's all about a nicer, more b3tary day tomorrow :)

'ello
It's only lunchtime here. I keep forgetting to be depressed today as it would have been my 4th wedding anniversary.
I'll try harder to be upset about it.
*tries*
Ah fuck it, I'm quite happy :D

I think
she was waiting until she'd had her birthday and seen everyone. I honestly can't see her returning home. However as you say 104 is about as good as it gets and there's not really anything more we can do. Whilst she's relatively alert, her body won't do what she wants it to anymore.
Funny story - When the local paper came to her house on her 100th Birthday, not only were they surprised to see her open the door to them but even more so when she told them to piss off as she didn't want everyone knowing how old she was.

hello all
It's remarkably lonely, being unable to talk. Trouble is people treat you as though you're deaf as well. It was quite amusing but I'm bored with it now.
