But I loved series 1 and 2. Still it does seem a bit too niche to be getting best sitcom though. What else was nominated?

Harry Hill has his moments
he may be getting a little dull and repetitive (again) but he more originality and amiability than anyone who has ever been on the IT crowd.

Getting dull a repetitive? I don't think he's ever been anything but that. Every time I've had the misfortune of seeing any of his TV Burp I've felt as though I know what every punchline is going to be before we're anywhere near it. Not sure it's ever made me laugh.

This thread is getting dull and repetitive now too. I'll go back to grumbling about the bbc being slow at releasing QI on DVD...
