I once ordered
a boxful of PC bits and got the AMD cpu I'd ordered, plus another much higher spec Intel one which I hadn't ordered.

Went straight on ebay and paid for over half the total order. Nice.

I got three quid's worth of strong cheddar for three pence yesterday, thanks to deli-monkey's inability to price things properly.

I ordered a fairly expensive telephoto lens for my camera just before Christmas
And received, in addition to the lens, a Nikon F2 body with a DP3 viewfinder. Which was nice, it's worth at least a couple of hundred quid and is a useful spare camera.

Now I'm saving up for a D series digital one, but they ain't exactly cheap...

I was doing a spot of closing-time food shopping, and the till-monkey was being distracted by a friend, meaning she forgot to press the button for new customer (or whatever) and had to scan everything again - forgetting my rather large chocolate ice-cream cake - which wouold have cost me an extra 8 € - almost half what I paid
