"Ohhh fuck!"
Were probably Ayrton Senna's last words, uttered at Tamborello corner fifteen years ago today.

At the time I was sat in my mate's lounge drinking beer and shouting "Ayrton, you cunt!" at the television.

Where were you and what were you doing?

How old am I? 27?
Ok, so I was 12...

Probably playing computer games or masturbating excessively.

No change there then.

I was in the pit lane
hiding my wire cutters

Watching the race on TV with my dad and my uncle
Can remember it happening, doesn't seem like 15 years ago!

I was 7... so probably setting fire to my sister or something.

I was twenty. Twenty cunting years old.

Fuck me, I'm ancient.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 10:23, Reply)
I was sitting
Watching and feeling a bit sad because of the crash, I liked Senna.

PJM, I was 25, so you're not that old!
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 10:25, Reply)
35 isn't that old
I bet you don't even have a stairlift yet.

EDIT Just remembered the joke that went round my school!

What's white (or was it red?) and can't take corners?

Ayrton Senna

I may be thirty five...
...but I have a willy like a blind cobbler's thumb.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 10:31, Reply)
I was in a Hotel in Manchester...
...having some of the filthiest sex ever recorded. Me and this lass had three dirty weekends away, and each time some major name died (Cobain, Senna, and 1 other driver not long after, can't remember who).

Looking back, us splitting up was probably safest for all concerned...
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 10:34, Reply)
I'm sure that's not true PJM
I bet it's like a sailor's forearm. I can't imagine chickenlady being with you for your looks or dazzling personality.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 10:37, Reply)
You're right Bert
It's the endless supply of free bike parts that does it.

Bert & PJM
I had an image od a baby's arm holding an apple.

I can't find the mind bleach, AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGG

I was 7
And don't remember it :( My earliest memory of formula one was seeing Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger driving through a chicane, I think it was the bus stop at Spa, but I can't remember the year.

Although I did have Ayrton Senna on the Megadrive, I was gutted when I saw the news that night. I was 9 :(

You've been watching Queer as Folk, you big gayer.

So have I though, *fwaps*
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:11, Reply)
I was 15
and remember all the jokes too.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:17, Reply)
I wish I'd known you when you were fifteen
you could have taught me all of the ways of the world, and groomed me into not being a cunt.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:19, Reply)
Sorry Bertie
Nope, never seen it. I don't watch TV very often now.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:20, Reply)
It's a line from the series
One of the gays gets with a really scary looking gay, and he says that he didn't mind that he was so scary looking because his cock was perfect, it was like a 'baby's arm holding an apple.'

I watched Queer as Folk years ago, with a girl, it got her all het-up. The filthy slag.

Did this happen during a weekend?

If it did I was probably twatted.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:32, Reply)

Now THAT'S old.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:33, Reply)
I was eighteen
watching the race on tv bonged off my face.

Just a note:

That means it's fifteen years and a day since Roland Ratzenberger died on the same track in a similar car in a similar accident. The forgotten one.

His name's funny though.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:45, Reply)
I was watching the race
It wasn't the best I've ever seen.

@Apathyman - the other driver was Roland Ratzenburger, who died as a result of a crash during a practice session earlier in the weekend.

Edit - as No3l's just said.

Is that really 15 years? Bloody hell.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 11:52, Reply)
Apathyman
Roland Rattsenburger or something similar, died the same weekend.

I was sitting in a hotel in Carlisle, aged a spritely 10.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 12:31, Reply)
I was
Sitting in my brother's garden drinking a very nice sparkling shiraz and discussing Ratzenberger's fatal crash of the previous day on the same corner.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 19:31, Reply)
Hmm
I was watching the race. I would have been a few months off 15.

Yeah, Ratzenberger drove the ill-fated Simtek. I remember they had MTV as sponsors. I don't believe the team made it through the season.
(, Fri 1 May 2009, 19:42, Reply)
i was
24. Fuck.
