When I click on a link on IMDB, it opens another window with an advert in. Not content with that, when i follow another link, it'll open another window, even if I don't close the first advert. It'll keep on opening windows on nearly every link.
Another is eBay with their "Keep me signed in for today" which never works.
What website 'features' do you find annoying?

I usually try wikipedia before IMDB because I hate the pop ups so much.

then I heartily recommend AdBlock Plus as an add-on. It's saved me no end of annoyance and got rid of nearly all the pop-ups. (Don't know if there's anything similar available for IE or Safari) It also speeds up a lot of pages which would otherwise have their loading time increased exponentially by the obscene amounts of adverts on them.
I can also feel like I'm "sticking it to the man" when I log in to tinker with my band's myspaz page, given that they make all their money from advertising which I don't have to look at! Ha! In your face, Murdoch!

I log in, leave it to load and go and surf another site... then once it's loaded, it pops up instead of just staying in the background. Who on earth thought this would be a good idea?

Also on gmail/IE:
When I load the login page at work (on IE unforunately), I immediately start typing in my username, tab, then password.
However for some incredulous reason the page forces my typing cursor into the password box instead of the login box? So I end up typing my username into the pass box. It's bizarre and frankly uncalled for.

I'm trying to play Facebook Scrabble all sneaky and that in the office
when suddenly there's a a huge 'helloooooo' coming from my machine
because I'd accidentally dragged the cursor over the advert.
Totally blew my cover.
Cunts.
