Hitting the wall
As most of you know, I like to keep fit. I run, swim, cycle, climb or do whatever it takes for the endorphine fix.

However of late I've found I've been hitting my limit sooner, my blood pressure is up and my resting pulse has jumped from 49bpm to a whopping 71bpm. The cause is due to some meds I've been prescribed.

Do I junk the pills or am I merely getting old?

Hmmm
Has this been gradual or a noticeable jump after you started the meds?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:25, Reply)
Noticable
I don't get the exercise high anymore either :-(
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:26, Reply)
That would be the meds I think

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:37, Reply)
Me too...
...for the first time that I can remember, I got a stitch in my side on my bike ride home earlier this week. I'm assuming it must be something to do with all the coughing I've been doing recently.

Either that or I'm just getting old too.

Didn't ride in today though - got a lift into the city with the BF and walked from there. It's nice to just yomp a few miles now and again.

Depemds what the pills are for, I reckon.
I mean, if they're pills that stop you from dying, or that stop your balls from falling off, then keep taking them. We don't want a dead/ball-less PJM.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:28, Reply)
I'll end up being ball-less...
...next time I log on to b3ta as chickenlady.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:29, Reply)
that was brilliant
you should definitely do that again.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:29, Reply)
That
Was pretty fucking funny. If you need inspiration for the next time she leaves herself logged in, check out Malchick's super duper coming out bash in the calendar on July 4th.

Oh yes, outing his girlfriend on the internet,

I think I'm on his ignore list

You should write some notes about them.

Since it's almost certainly a meat puppet, would you expect a reply from gazzes?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:56, Reply)
It was a nice gaz and everything.

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:58, Reply)
DId you offer them cake and internet hugz
because, judging by the recent posts, they aren't that into the fluffeh stuff.

If the Honda Accord is the Chucknorrismobile
then what sort of car should be the Flouncemobile?

A pink Micra convertible?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:56, Reply)
We just need to find out what sort of car Wormulus drives

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:59, Reply)
I don't think he does

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 10:03, Reply)
I suspect he rides a bike
like this one
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 10:06, Reply)
Needs moar handlebar streamers
in hot pink.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 10:10, Reply)
does that mean if I reply to this saying that piston is an incredibly dull mofo
who no one likes, that he won't be able to see it?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 10:24, Reply)
I think that's how it works

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 10:26, Reply)

It's a bit well, mean isn't it?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 11:22, Reply)
They're for a long standing health complaint
While it probably won't kill me, it's not pleasant. However life being unfit is also not pleasant either :-(
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:39, Reply)
40bpm resting is practically dead.

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:35, Reply)
My great Uncle
was on beta blockers for his angina, and he went for a scan and he had a resting pulse of 21bpm. And he got really grumpy when they said he wasn't allowed to fly down to see my parents and had to stay in hospital for a while.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:36, Reply)
What's so great
about your uncle?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:38, Reply)
He used to have a motorbike
and he's a geordie. That's pretty great in my book.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:40, Reply)
Good enough for me!

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:42, Reply)
Apologies
It was actually 49bpm, excuse the typo.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:38, Reply)

just slightly above practically dead.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:45, Reply)
immpractically dead?

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:47, Reply)
no,
that would be beyond practically dead
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:48, Reply)
Oh god, I feel like such a spaz now.

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:50, Reply)
I know where you can get one if that helps?

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:51, Reply)
You know where piston lives?

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:51, Reply)
unpracticably dead?
practicably undead?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:50, Reply)
Stop thinking about pre-cum.
That's what it'll be.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:43, Reply)
That whole pre-cum thing
is really debilitating isn't it.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:47, Reply)
Apparently thinking about it is

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 9:51, Reply)
I try not to think about Spakkas
but anyone else's is fair game I reckon.
